Job description

Eps Corporation is seeking a Senior Configuration Manager will lead and manage configuration management (CM) processes across complex Department of Defense (DoD) programs, ensuring the integrity, traceability, and accountability of hardware, software, and documentation throughout the system life cycle. This position supports Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and Navy programs-particularly within the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD)-to maintain compliance with all applicable standards and policies related to configuration control, change management, and sustainment operations. Requirements Key Responsibilities: * Serve as the Configuration Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned programs, including JEXC2 or similar deployable C5ISRT systems. * Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans, procedures, and tools to support system acquisition and sustainment phases. * Lead configuration audits, change control boards (CCBs), and documentation reviews to ensure system baselines remain consistent and verifiable. * Provide CM oversight for hardware, software, and documentation in alignment with Navy and DoD standards. * Support Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements throughout all life cycle phases, ensuring interoperability between engineering, logistics, and program management teams. * Coordinate with Alteration Installation Teams (AIT) and ensure compliance with the SL720-AA-MAN-030 Navy Modernization Process Management & Operations Manual (NMP-MOM). * Manage and oversee industrial work performed by AITs per QOP-7.7 and related quality and process requirements. * Maintain CM tools, databases, and repositories to ensure accessibility and traceability of program artifacts. * Provide subject matter guidance on configuration identification, control, status accounting, verification, and audits. * Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, logistics, and production to ensure CM requirements are integrated and maintained across all systems and components. Required Qualifications: * Master's Certification in Enterprise Configuration Management (CMPIC). * 9 years of experience supporting Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements within DoD Sustainment and Acquisition processes, preferably for NSWC PCD and Navy programs. * Certified Configuration Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive hardware and software life cycle expertise for JEXC2 or comparable deployable C5ISRT programs. * Demonstrated experience with Alteration Installation Team (AIT) processes and compliance with SL720-AA-MAN-030 (NMP-MOM) and QOP-7.7. * Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Life Cycle Logistics Level I (DAWIA Foundational) certification. * Active Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with configuration management tools such as Windchill, CMPro, or similar. * Familiarity with DoD 5000-series acquisition policies and SECNAV/NAVSEA CM requirements. * Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse technical teams. * Demonstrated ability to analyze, document, and resolve configuration discrepancies in a high-tempo operational environment.
