What is a configuration data management analyst?

Configuration Data Management Analysts are professionals responsible for maintaining and controlling the documentation, data, and records associated with product configurations throughout their lifecycle. They ensure that all changes to product designs, documentation, and processes are accurately tracked and implemented according to established procedures. These analysts play a critical role in industries like aerospace, defense, and manufacturing, where product integrity and traceability are essential.
