Become a Key Player as a Maintenance Technician
You will maintain and repair complex facility and production equipment to keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. You will impact production uptime and quality by troubleshooting hydraulics, machinery, and control systems while working onsite on a 1st shift schedule (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM) with a training period on 2nd shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM).
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Set up, calibrate, and prepare N/C machine tools and perform test runs to verify proper operation
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in analog and digital control systems and machine shop equipment
- Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, tubing, valves, and related fixtures
- Fabricate, modify, and align specialized machine tools and production machinery
- Install air and water lines, conduit routing, and electrical wiring for production equipment
- Perform shop surveys, use precision test equipment, and plan sequences for complex repairs and overhauls
- Coordinate and schedule work orders and determine manpower and materials required for timely completion
- Operate welding equipment and assist with construction, installation, and overhaul of test stands and fixtures
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Seven years of related maintenance experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities
- Proven ability to work from schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and machine tool testing procedures
- Must possess required tools and be able to set up and operate hand and power tools
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a participative team player
Here's What Else Might Help You Out
- Proficiency with pump and valve overhaul procedures, especially aerospace-associated equipment
- Thorough knowledge of general hydraulics technology (pumps, cylinders, accumulators, filters, piping) and tube bending/fabrication
- Working knowledge of electronic theory as applied to N/C and standard machines and machine shop mathematics (including trigonometry)
- Working knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes
- Experience with computers and software to create reports and maintain spreadsheets
- Forklift operator certification
Pay Range
$36.00 - $45.00/hour
