Job description

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Full-Time Electrician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and/or industrial environments. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team while delivering quality workmanship on every job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduit, panels, and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics on systems and equipment
  • Install and terminate electrical devices, panels, disconnects, transformers, and breakers
  • Bend and install EMT, rigid conduit, and other raceway systems
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes, company standards, and jobsite safety requirements
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing equipment
  • Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades on jobsite activities
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition
  • Complete daily job reports and communicate project progress
  • Assist with material handling, inventory, and jobsite organization when needed
  • Travel to project sites as required
  • Support other departments and projects when electrical work is limited

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an electrician in commercial, industrial, or construction environments
  • Knowledge of NEC and electrical safety standards
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
  • Experience with conduit bending and wire pulling preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various indoor/outdoor environments
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Ability to work overtime and travel when required
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
