Journeyman Electrician 01 or 02

 

Location:  2521 River Road, Yakima, WA 98902

Job Type:  Full-time, non exempt

Wage Range:  Electrician-01 $38 to $52 per hour (DOE)

                         Electrician-02 $29 to $42 per hour (DOE)

Work Schedule:  Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 pm; Fridays as needed.

Bigfoot Electric, part of Baxter Construction, is looking to hire a residential or commercial Journeyman Electrician. We offer a very competitive wage with an excellent benefit package. This is a year-round, full-time opportunity. We work local providing excellent service, installation & repairs to all residential (some commercial) customers within the service areas of Yakima and Kittitas counties.

Estimator experience a plus!

Job Requirements:

  • Uphold the company’s standard of excellence in electrical construction

  • Must have excellent communication skills

  • Work well independently and as a team.

  • Maintain current Washington State Electrical license

  • Must have valid driver's license and must be insurable

  • Must have own hand tools

  • Need to be familiar with the NEC code requirements

  • Experience in cutting and bending electrical conduit

  • Assemble, install & test electrical wiring

  • Terminate electrical panels: Install lighting fixtures and all electrical devices.

  • Troubleshoot control systems in Commercial and Industrial

  • Follow safety rules and notify supervision or others when a safety hazard is observed

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings
