Job description

Job Title: ElectricianJob Description

This role offers an opportunity for an experienced commercial electrician to perform a wide range of electrical installations and troubleshooting tasks on active construction projects. You will work with EMT conduit, wiring, and low-voltage systems, supporting project needs and completing work as directed by on-site leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Install EMT conduit in sizes including ¾", 1", 1 ½", and 2" according to project specifications and applicable codes.
  • Pull, route, and terminate electrical wiring and cabling for commercial applications.
  • Perform miscellaneous electrical tasks as directed by the foreman, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to plan and execute installations.
  • Install, assemble, and wire electrical panels and switchgear in commercial environments.
  • Assist with low-voltage installations and connections as required by project scope.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, identify issues, and implement effective repairs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and site rules while working on construction projects.
  • Coordinate with team members and site leadership to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Essential Skills
  • At least 3 years of commercial electrical experience.
  • Proficiency with EMT conduit installation, including ¾", 1", 1 ½", and 2" sizes.
  • Strong experience pulling and terminating electrical wire and cable.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Hands-on experience with construction-site electrical work.
  • Skill in installing and wiring switchgear and electrical panels.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
