Job description


The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the condominium's common areas. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff by performing routine and deep-cleaning tasks according to established standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize common areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and restrooms
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and properly dispose of waste
  • Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors in common areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of community rooms, fitness centers, and amenities
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and paper products
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to management or maintenance staff
  • Follow safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Assist with special cleaning projects, events, or seasonal tasks
  • Perform light exterior cleaning such as entryways, walkways, and trash areas
