- Ensure condominium and cooperative projects are underwritten accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain approved and declined condominium and cooperative projects lists and manage expiration dates.
- Manage lender concentration.
- Maintain condominium and cooperative projects documentation and requirements as dictated by the agencies and investors.
- Retain and manage project files.
- Ensure cooperatives meet Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines.
- Ensure condominiums meet Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/ VA guidelines.
- Determine eligibility of a project (underwrite budget, financials, questionnaire, etc.).
- Perform legal reviews of the projects (i.e. review by laws, offering plan, etc.).
- Deliver excellent customer service to Sales and Operations staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years' project review experience.
- 5+ years' experience related to mortgage credit guidelines, policies and procedures.
- 5 years' experience with FNMA/ Freddie/ FHA underwriting guidelines.
- Experience with investor guidelines.
- Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA/ VA condominium's websites and all regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills.
