Position Overview

Cardinal Title Group is a trusted provider of residential and commercial title and settlement services, supporting real estate transactions across Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia. With a strong focus on professionalism, responsiveness, and customer service, Cardinal Title Group partners with buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, and attorneys to deliver smooth and efficient closings from contract to settlement.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Title Processor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional with prior title company experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can successfully manage multiple files from contract through closing. The Processor will play a key role in supporting smooth and accurate real estate transactions while delivering excellent service to clients, lenders, and settlement partners.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and send complete title packages to lenders

  • Perform title curative work and resolve title issues as needed

  • Obtain payoff statements, HOA/condo information, and other required closing documentation

  • Prepare title and settlement documents for closing

  • Coordinate with lenders to prepare and finalize Closing Disclosures and ALTA Settlement Statements

  • Balance and review files prior to closing to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Respond professionally and effectively to client, lender, and agent inquiries regarding the closing process

  • Monitor and manage a general email inbox

  • Maintain organized digital and physical files, including scanning, filing, and administrative support tasks

  • Ensure deadlines are met while managing a high-volume pipeline of transactions

Qualifications
  • Active Title Producer License in the state of Virginia or Maryland required

  • Prior experience working for a title company is required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in title, settlement, or real estate processing

  • Strong working knowledge of Closing Disclosures and settlement documentation preferred

  • Experience managing a high-volume workload in a deadline-driven environment

  • Proficiency with Qualia strongly preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Positive attitude with strong customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and transition between files seamlessly

  • High School Diploma required; College degree preferred
