Job description

Our client is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to work at their Wellington County plants, as well as at subcontractor facilities. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting and validating materials, components, and manufactured products to ensure they comply with work instructions, applicable specifications, customer requirements, and the company's quality assurance policies. Responsibilities · Inspect and monitor quality requirements throughout the manufacturing process in accordance with company quality assurance policies, customer specifications, and established control plans. · Perform first-off, in-process, receiving, and final inspections as required. · Conduct accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies in accordance with control plans and specification requirements. · Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments, including: o Vernier calipers o Micrometers o Depth gauges o Height gauges o Chamfer gauges o Radius gauges o Thread gauges o CMM equipment, as required · Create comprehensive dimensional inspection reports using CMM data and conventional measuring equipment. · Document and report inspection results, including completed Purchase Orders. File, scan, and archive quality records as required. · Perform product identification and traceability activities in accordance with established procedures. · Work with customer inspectors during customer oversight Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
