Job description

The Concrete Pump Operator plays a critical role in supporting various construction projects including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial developments. Operating primarily as a solo operator or within a small team of 2-3 people, this position requires proficiency in using boom pump equipment and ensuring safe, efficient concrete pumping operations. Frequent travel and adherence to day shift schedules are common aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Operate concrete pumping equipment, primarily boom pumps, with precision and safety
  • Set up pumps on-site according to project specifications and safety regulations
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability
  • Comply with all safety standards and site safety protocols
  • Prepare construction sites for pumping activities
  • Inspect equipment for issues and conduct troubleshooting as needed
