PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (PTA) ( FULL-TIME or PART-TIME)


Busy Rheumatology group in Skokie, IL is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist who will join our current Physical Therapy Department.  We consider our therapy services as concierge without the fee!

We take pride in our physical therapy offering to our patients with 100% one on one care for the patient by the therapist.  There is no overbooking, the patient schedule is one patient every 45 minutes, with a maximum of 12 patients a day per therapist.

We are dedicated to developing protocols with our therapists that will help our patients manage their disease states and improve their ADL’s and reduce their pain.

We offer a four-day work week, Monday through Thursday (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) - No nights or weekends!! Three-day weekend, every week!


Responsibilities:

  • Promote and maintain health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist.
  • Provide excellent patient care for our patients to achieve positive outcomes and engaging experience with our Physical Therapy Department
  • Follow and administer the treatment plans outlined by the Physical Therapist..
  • Be aware of treatment protocols and goals for each patient.
  • Document patient services by utilizing the EMR for all treatment notes.
  • Treat patients, answer any questions or concerns and educate them on their progress and rehabilitation.
  • Communicate with the Physical Therapist regarding current status and review any concerns you may have regarding a patient.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and adhering to infection control policies and protocols.


Job Requirements:

  • Illinois Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Completed Physical Therapy Assistant Program at an accredited school.
  • At least two years of experience preferred, not required
