SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Penn State Health Medical Group - Middletown office is located minutes outside of Hummelstown and sees, on average, 150-180 patients a day. This office houses several specialties including: Adult and Pediatrics Rheumatology, Neurology, GI, Dermatology, Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), Bariatrics and Family Medicine.
Operating on a day-time schedule during the weekday, the selected LPN will have a mix of clinical and clerical duties to oversee. In the clinical capacity, you will be preparing rooms and rooming patients, conducting quality/point-of-care labs, and assisting providers with in-house procedures. As far as clerical duties are concerned, you will be monitoring messages from patients and providers, stocking rooms, and assisting with phone calls from patients. Middletown is seeking an LPN who is a strong communicator and works both independently and in a team setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
