Job description

OHM Concessions Group owns, operates and manages restaurants in airports across the United States. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and a fun work environment.
We are looking to add motivated BOH/Kitchen experts to our Chick-Fil-A team. If you want to be part of a positive atmosphere and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then we’d like to meet you! Flexible shifts and schedules available. Full and part-time available. Shifts could be 4am-12pm, 5am-1pm or 6am-2pm
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other team members. You will be an experienced line cook that enjoys preparing quality food that results in customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITES amp; DUTIES
  • Prepare food for service (i.e. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces). Using approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
  • Maintain safety standards while using knives and other food preparation equipment.
  • Restocks and/or breaks down workstation at the conclusion of the shift.
  • Assists in controlling product costs by ensuring the proper management of product waste.
  • Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
  • Speed and efficiency are of the utmost importance. Ability to multi-task and organizational structure.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
REQUIREMENTS amp; QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Can communicate effectively in English
  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.
  • Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage.
  • An upbeat and friendly attitude.
  • Open availability and flexible schedule for demanding hours.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 25 pounds or more.
