In a managerial role, you also hire, train, and supervise staff, create staff schedules, organize financial and booking records, and help develop marketing materials. Event coordinators scout and book performers, often handling a range of details, from promotions to backstage hospitality, for multiple music events throughout the year. As a producer, your responsibilities include overseeing all logistics related to the performance, such as stage, sound, and lighting management.
