Job description

The Fountain Group are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Quality and Sanitation Specialist II for a prominent Food and Beverage client of ours. This position is in Portland, OR. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:

  • Pay: 40.00/hr.
  • Length of Assignment: ASAP need. 3 months contract with potential for extension.
  • Schedule: 6:00am to 3:00pm Monday - Friday. Potential weekends.
  • MUST HAVE at least some union experiences.
  • The Sanitation Leader is responsible for maintaining Sanitation and Pest Control records and ensuring that our programs are compliant with corporate QP's and Sanitation policies.
  • Required to support Operations through administration of Quality Programs.
  • The candidate must be involved in troubleshooting and problem solving in concert with Operations and Quality departments to prevent faulty product, consumer complaints, and sanitary design issues.
  • The Sanitation Lead will develop and implement strategies that will ensure that the necessary tools, supplies, and equipment are available to perform sanitation tasks effectively.
  • You will work with key partners to ensure that food safety requirements are accurately translated into raw material, process and product specifications in a timely manner, provide basic food safety requirements advice to key stakeholders, and direct detailed technical questions to the Food Safety Team experts.
