ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

The IT Support Technician will be required to perform the following:

Assist students, parents, and teachers with various technology issues over the phone or in person. 

Troubleshoot and perform repairs on Chromebooks and Windows based computers

Manage user accounts

Basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues

Keep tech rooms clean and organized

Setup computers/printers in classrooms and offices

Must be able to climb ladders and get under desks

Use a ticketing system for accountability and customer service

Provide professional, courteous customer service 

Maintain ongoing inventory

Be cheerfully willing to work towards the better good of the school at times even when asked to assist with duties not in your regular work schedule

Attend all scheduled staff meetings and attend designated school functions outside of school hours if asked

Follow the GEO Foundation and school policies and procedures. 

Preform other duties, as deemed appropriate

Dress professionally when on school grounds

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Must have proven customer service experience 

Must have experience working with Windows computer systems 

Must have reliable transportation

Ability to work outside normal hours or work week

Critical thinking and ability to research issues
