We are growing and looking for a Technical Designer who can take ownership of turning design concepts into precise, buildable, and install-ready technical packages.

This is not a conceptual design role - this is a hands-on, production-focused position.

What You will Be Responsible For

  • Translate design concepts into fully detailed technical drawings ready for fabrication, purchasing, and installation
  • Produce shop drawings, construction drawings, and installation packages
  • Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks /AutoCAD
  • Develop cut lists, BOMs, and fabrication-ready documentation
  • Ensure all drawings reflect real-world constraints, materials, tolerances, and cost efficiencies (value engineering)
  • Coordinate with production, installation, and project management teams to ensure feasibility and execution
  • Integrate AV components (monitors, LED systems, lighting, electrical requirements) into designs
  • Review and validate architectural drawings, site conditions, and field measurements
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA requirements, and safety standards
  • Identify risks early (installation conflicts, tolerances, material issues) and propose solutions
  • Own revisions and updates from concept through final delivery

What We are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in technical drafting, fabrication drawings, or construction detailing
  • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks / AutoCAD or similar tools (mandatory)
  • Experience producing:
    • Shop drawings
    • Construction / fit-out drawings
    • Assembly and installation packages
  • Understanding of:
    • Materials (metal, wood, acrylic, glass, etc.)
    • Manufacturing and fabrication processes
    • Structural considerations and mounting systems
  • Familiarity with:
    • Electrical layouts, AV systems, LED integration, and lighting
  • Strong understanding of architectural drawings and coordination
  • Knowledge of ADA and general building codes (especially for public spaces like hospitals)
  • Ability to own deliverables end-to-end with minimal supervision
  • We are looking for both full-time employee and subcontractors.

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience working on custom fabrication or experiential environments
  • Exposure to interior fit-outs, millwork, or signage systems
  • Strong problem-solving and value engineering mindset
  • Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency
  • Experience working closely with production teams or installers

Assessment Requirement

As part of the hiring process, you will complete a practical technical assignment to demonstrate your ability to translate a concept into a build-ready drawing package.

If you are someone who doesn't just draw-but builds through drawings, we want to hear from you.

Apply with:
