Job description

While working to achieve N3B LLCC objectives, ensures all activities and operations are performed in a safe and deliberate manner; maintains required safety, security and operational training; assures procedural and regulatory compliance; and makes safety, security and quality an integral part of every task, including taking the necessary steps to stop work if continuing the job is unsafe or compromises security.



EssentialDuties/Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):



  • Plans, lays outs, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data in a field of specialization such as structures, devices, mechanics, electrical, or electronics.

  • Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, CAD, CAM or CATIA.

  • Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices.

  • Determines scaling; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations.

  • Prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.



  • Knowledge of fundamental principles, concepts and techniques in the drafting field.

  • Skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks under general supervision and guidance

  • Ability to organize own work independently in order to meet established objectives, using discretion in performing duties

  • Level of language skills, mathematical skills, communication skills, reasoning ability and computer skills necessary to perform essential functions of the job



Education and Experience Required:


Bachelors' degree in appropriate discipline; however, a combination of education and relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.
