Job description

We are seeking a Shipping/ Warehouse person at our CARBONDALE KS location to become an integral part of our team! Work 8am to 5:30 pm. You will help package & coordinate incoming & outgoing shipments, as well as returns, and keep track of inventory & general shop cleaning. 99 DAY $700 SIGN ON BONUS, HOURLY PAY PLUS PERFORMANCE BONUS, HEALTH CARE PLAN, 401K & up to 2 WEEKS PAID VACATION

Responsibilities:

  • MUST HAVE GOOD COMPUTER SKILLS
  • Wrap all parts for shipment
  • Enter all data in computer for UPS or LTL shipments
  • Print all shipping and BOL labels
  • Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
  • Wash and prep parts for delivery
  • Quality Control check for Damages
  • Take pictures of all parts and load into computer
  • Arrange appropriate transportation of parts on UPS / FED EX
  • Assist customers with shipping inquiries
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned
  • Restock any return parts into inventory
  • Load outgoing delivery trucks.

Qualifications:

  • Must have good Computer skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in Shipping & Receiving is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Ability to handle work load. Lifting & bending
  • Must be able to safely lift 85 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good Multi Tasking Skills
  • Good Time Management Skills.

Denton Auto Salvage is a fast growing, privately owned company with 27 Employees. We have been in business for over 65 years. We are located 1 mile south of Carbondale KS. We are a proud member of TEAM PRP. Team PRP is a nation wide organization of over 300 independent Auto Recyclers. We have 4 Delivery routes serving all of the Eastern 2/3 of Kansas as well as all of the Kansas City Mo area. Team PRP also has a trailer system covering all of the Eastern 2/3 of the United States. This gives us access to a Huge Inventory Data Base to buy and sell parts from. We cater primarily to the Insurance industry and professional mechanical and auto body repair shops.
