Job description

Position Overview:

As a Solutions Engineer based in our Corvallis, OR office, you will be part of our passionate and innovative technical team. You will become an expert in adapting and commissioning our scanning and optimization solutions. You will be responsible for implementing, validating and optimizing our software to solve customer specific needs, and traveling to the customer site to complete the solution.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implementation and validation of our software, meeting customer-specific requirements
  • Customization and commissioning of our scanning optimization solutions in the production line directly in the field
  • Development and implementation of software for new machine functions such as computer vision and UX/UI design
  • Collaboration in all Project phases: development, testing, delivery, commissioning and optimization
  • Cooperation with our Customer Support and Sales department in the definition of specific software requirements
  • Preparation of software documentation
Required Qualifications:
  • 2 year degree in Computer Science or similar (specialization in image processing is a plus)
  • Good understanding of C / C++
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Structured and autonomous work ethic, with a customer-oriented approach
  • Curious and open minded
  • Ability to travel worldwide (25% to 75%)
  • High problem-solving skills
  • Strong relational and communication skills
  • Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialization in image processing
  • Basic knowledge of CUDA
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio.
