• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the unique backgrounds and needs of each patient, subsequently developing personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting techniques to accommodate diverse personal and cultural contexts of patients.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focused on enhancing mental resilience and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and ensure patient success.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, assessing risk and implementing appropriate support measures.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to enhance support.
• Maintain meticulous and secure records in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to promote professional growth and patient care excellence.
• Stay updated on current mental health research and best practices to continually improve service delivery and patient outcomes.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Florida.
• Strong foundation in understanding mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, with a proven commitment to cultural competence.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy in culturally responsive manners.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the poise to navigate challenging situations effectively.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities that foster rapport with diverse populations.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications necessary for professional practice.
• A steadfast commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality.
• A collaborative spirit to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred candidates will have a background in trauma-informed care or experience with specific populations such as refugees or the LGBTQ+ community. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy techniques is also advantageous, enhancing your ability to connect with patients in an online environment.

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
