We are currently looking for an Insurance Liaison to join our customer-focused team! Our ideal candidate can build rapport with families, healthcare providers, and insurance companies in a compassionate and efficient manner. This position plays an integral role in the patient and family experience by expediting the insurance process while maintaining a high level of customer service. This role will also effectively communicate benefits and eligibility for multiple insurances throughout the country. We're looking for someone who can thoroughly research and pinpoint the critical insurance answers our families need to make an informed treatment decision.

The perfect candidate enjoys collaborating with a team of passionate individuals in a dynamic, remote environment. They love learning new things in a fast-paced, ever-evolving company. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems with a high sense of urgency to help infants and their families begin treatment as quickly as possible due to the limited window for treatment.

We will train you on the insurance process and all things unique to Cranial Technologies!

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all of our families
  • Coordination of information between referring physicians, insurance companies and our own treatment clinics
  • Obtain insurance authorizations
  • Research, review, and effectively document benefits, eligibility, and authorization requirements within our system alongside our Verifications Team
  • Accurately review benefits and eligibility to ensure our families can make an informed decision regarding the cost associated with treatment
  • Communicate cost shares, co-payments and financial responsibilities with our patients families

Requirements:

  • 1 – 2 years customer service or related experience
  • 1 – 2 years experience with computer software such as Microsoft Outlook and Adobe
  • Investigative, curious and problem solving mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, task-oriented mindset with a strong ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work on a team as well as independently
  • Personable, warm, empathetic, and professional verbal and written communication style with team members as well as those seeking treatment
