As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions that promote lasting change and recovery.
• Collaborating with a diverse team of mental health professionals including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists to ensure holistic care for clients, enhancing their treatment outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and client interactions in strict compliance with organizational policies and HIPAA regulations, ensuring transparency and accountability in client care.
• Engaging in ongoing clinical supervision, attending training sessions, and participating in professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest trends and knowledge in the mental health field.
• Upholding ethical practices and ensuring confidentiality in accordance with legal standards, organizational policies, and best practices.

Your role will primarily focus on working with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and adults who present with a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our community health clinic setting demands a sensitive approach to client care, recognizing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each individual and fostering an environment of trust and support.

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling or a closely related field.
• A valid and active LPCC license in California is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical counseling, demonstrating competency in managing diverse client needs independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an innate ability to connect with clients, exhibiting empathy and understanding.
• Proficient computer literacy skills to efficiently navigate electronic health record systems and conduct necessary administrative tasks.

• Previous experience providing telehealth services is an advantage, given the remote nature of this position.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to achieve client goals.
• Familiarity with specific evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Mindfulness-Based therapy.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload. In addition to a robust salary structure, we offer an extensive benefits package that includes:
