Job description

UtopiaCompression Corporation is seeking a highly skilled research scientist in Computer Vision (CV)-Machine Learning (ML) domains actively involved in a diverse range of research and development programs including, but not limited to, CV, ML and Artificial intelligence (AI). The prospective candidate shall innovate and adapt a multidisciplinary approach to solve problems in visual analytics for all domains (air, sea and ground).

Basic Requirements

â—Ź PhD (minimum), in ComputerVision, Computer Science, or an Engineering discipline relevant to the expertise noted below.

â—Ź Deep and diverse knowledge in computer vision both in theory and practice, classical computer vision, image and video analysis, object detection and recognition, 3D reconstruction, motion analysis and tracking, diffusion models, GenAI.

â—Ź Experience with real-world sensor integrations, including EO/IR cameras, LiDAR, Radar and PTZ cameras.

â—Ź Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

â—Ź Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ML.

â—Ź Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

â—Ź Impressive track record in research, technical proposal and scientific publications, and communication skills. The Candidate is required to have publications in reputable journals, e.g. CVPR, IEEE.

â—Ź Experience with GPU / CUDA programming for accelerated computer vision processing.

â—Ź Proficient in C++, Python, OpenCV, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch

â—Ź Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance.
