Job description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to assist senior engineers in designing, testing, analyzing, and fabricating mechanical components and systems. These roles provide students or recent graduates with hands-on, real-world experience to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practices.
Skills Desired:
Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, material properties, and reading mechanical engineering drawings. Familiarity with design and modeling tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, 3D printing) and office automation tools (Microsoft 360). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to take direction from mentors and leadership.

All candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program majoring in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs, repeatedly, daily.
  • Must be able to twist, turn, bend, stand and stoop when required.
  • Must be able to utilize hand tools provided by company.
  • Must be able to utilize power tools provided by company.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while sitting at a desk.
  • Must be able to sit in front of and use a computer to work for prolonged periods of time.
  • Will need to wear safety glasses, smock, shoes and at times gloves when on manufacturing floor.
  • Will mostly be working in well-lit office cubicle.
