Job description

Affinity recruiting is looking for a CAD Technician Assistant for a local manufacturer in the Norwood, MA location.

Ideal candidate must be proficient with AutoCAD 2016 or higher and 2-3 years of experience as a CAD Tech.


Responsibilities:

  • Make or change current engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Experience with working directly with engineers, engineering dept, CAD techs, inside sales and other manufacturing departments.
  • Maintain electronic drawing files and associated documents.
  • Make documentation packages for use in manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • Able to read and understand customer supplied prints and documents.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • 2-3 years of experience in an CAD tech role.
  • Strong analytical and math skills
  • Able to work under pressure and can work on several projects at one time.
