Job description

Summary/Objective:
The Production Technician operates machines to produce a quality product in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and tend machines that stitch, use hot air, or ultrasonics to join together materials in the manufacturing or garment products.
  • Observes seaming to detect and defects and notifies supervisor or mechanic if defect is caused by machine malfunction.
  • Responsible for moving bundles of cutwork within module.
  • Fold and pack out products in boxes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Hand/eye coordination.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must be able to read and follow directions.
  • Intermediate computer skills to include ERP software.
  • Basic math skills including an advanced understanding of units of measure, fractions, and decimals.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education & Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform job functions.
