Operations Team Lead Needed In Milton! Short Term Contract 4 Weeks with protentional to go longer! Our client is looking for looking for a temporary, experienced Senior Operations Lead, who will be responsible for overseeing a distribution center/warehouse, transportation, and logistics for a Canadian logistics facility. This is a temporary role lasting a minimum of 4 weeks. $28-$33hr, based on experience Shift Schedules: 6:00am to 2:00 pm - Monday to Friday Location: Milton, ON - James Snow Parkway/ Regional Rd Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist with senior leaders to help improve customer satisfaction, distribution performance, and customer retention - Collaborates with internal departments and drive continuous process improvement - Identifies, analyzes, and resolves a wide range of issues, providing quick and decisive solutions within the context of existing policies and identifying the need for revision or creation of policies - Assesses warehouse management technologies to drive operation effectiveness and efficiency in the distribution centers - Directs the overall safety functions of the distribution center Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field, or comparable experience preferred 3-5 years managing multiple functions within a manufacturing or distribution facility, specifically coordinating order picking and stock-keeping functions 2 years minimum lead or supervisor experience 2 years minimum operating warehouse equipment including order picker.
