Labcorp is seeking a Study Tech - Dose Formulations to join our team in Greenfield, IN.
Work Schedule:
  • During training: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday for approximately 1-2 months.
  • Once training is completed this position offers a 4-day work week!!

Job Summary:
The Associate Technician - Dose Formulation is an entry-level laboratory role responsible for learning and supporting the preparation of test materials for dose administration. This position operates in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), and applicable regulatory guidelines. The role provides hands-on training in scientific techniques, data documentation, and study support activities within a regulated laboratory environment.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Learn to review and interpret study protocols to support accurate test material formulation procedures.
  • Assist in conducting study tasks in compliance with protocols, SOPs, and GLPs.
  • Accurately collect, document, and maintain laboratory data (both manual and electronic).
  • Perform basic study-related calculations and formulation techniques under supervision.
  • Support study setup, execution, and data organization efforts.
  • Assist with quality checks and respond to QA audits as needed.
  • Develop effective communication skills with internal teams and, when appropriate, external clients.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment relevant to assigned tasks.
  • Prepare laboratory reagents, vehicles, diets, solutions/suspensions, and capsules according to protocols.
  • Assist with sample handling, including storage, tracking, and disposition of dose materials.
  • Support formulation verification processes.
  • Follow procedures for the safe handling of test materials and maintain compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace.
  • Identify and report deviations or issues that may impact study integrity.
  • Escalate concerns to Study Directors, Principal Investigators, or management as appropriate.
  • Participate in daily workload planning and manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Collaborate within a team environment and contribute to shared goals.
  • Support continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field
