Job Summary:
AdvanSoft is a company specializing in IT solutions, and they are seeking a Computer Systems Engineer to manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure. The role involves implementing solutions for various networking protocols, maintaining security policies, and supporting server operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage infrastructure and troubleshoot issues related to routing, switching, and firewalls platforms
• Implement and support solutions related to virtual local area network, multiprotocol labelling switching, VPN Configuration connecting gateways, border gateway protocol, and Open shortest first path protocol
• Create virtual area network to segregate departments like SAP, HR, Admin and maintain security governance policies between these departments from infrastructure layer prospective using firewalls, periodical network security audits
• Implement and support solutions related to wireless local Area network controllers and support it on multiple frequency 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz etc. and Support wireless infrastructure services by implementing solutions related to Access Points and other Wi-Fi devices
• Develop plans or budgets for network equipment replacement and coordinate installation of Servers, client systems, new equipment, network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades
• Replace network and security devices which comes from vendor as return merchandize authorization.
• Maintain server’s hypervisor EXSI technology and changes related to the services and provide console access for hypervisor servers to vendors so that they can perform troubleshooting
• Implement and support servers which can provide services related to Mail server, Portal Server, .NET Sever, SQL, DNS and Dynamic host control protocol. Manage these servers Grid Masters and members to avoid any outages to services.
• Collaborate and contribute to the development of disaster recovery plans, administration and testing of backup and recovery plans and maintenance of storage server
• Prepare service operational manuals for infrastructure services
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or related bachelor’s discipline, or equivalent experience
