Job description

D2 Government Solutions is seeking a full time qualified candidate for Instructional System Specialist at our National Air Training Center / OpSTAR Support Services location in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement computer-based and web-based training for CBP/AMO using accepted instructional-design methods such as ADDIE or SAM.
  • Work with Government SMEs, instructors, multimedia staff, technical writers, and stakeholders to define training objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Create eLearning content, simulations, scenarios, quizzes, storyboards, scripts, timelines, prototypes, study guides, and training aids.
  • Develop courseware using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, or similar Government-approved commercial tools.
  • Ensure materials follow adult-learning principles, Section 508 accessibility requirements, SCORM/xAPI/AICC compatibility, and LMS requirements.
  • Test and troubleshoot courseware for functionality, usability, browser/device compatibility, and error-free delivery.
  • Maintain source-material archives, version control, design documents, user guides, technical manuals, and other training documentation.
Qualifications
  • Certificate or education in instructional design, education, training and development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of instructional design experience with a focus on computer-based training development.
  • Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360/Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of adult learning, assessments, learning objectives, Section 508 accessibility, SCORM, LMS compatibility, and training evaluation methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple training-development projects and collaborate with federal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
