Job description

CAD Design/Drafter, Industrial Plant-Piping-Pressure Vessel-Machinery

This Immediate Opening as an CAD Design/Drafter with RWDC Industries, you will play a crucial role in our engineering team, supporting the design and implementation of industrial plant & piping systems for various projects. This position is ideal for someone who is hard charging and willing to grow in a collaborative environment while contributing to innovative solutions in industrial plant and piping design.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of piping and industrial plant layouts designs using CAD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze piping systems and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of detailed piping design drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Participate in project meetings and assist in the coordination of design activities with other disciplines.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and assess existing conditions for new projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and experience in related field.
  • Basic understanding of piping design principles and relevant industry codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit).
  • 1-2+ years of experience in industrial plants and piping design or related fields.
  • Required experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, Plant 3D).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
