Zuern Building Products & Design Center is actively seeking a full time Yard Receiving Handler at our Watertown location. Zuern Building Products is a family-owned and operated building material supplier and design company. We have five expansive facilities with complete showrooms in Allenton, Cedarburg, Franklin and Watertown. We take pride in our tradition of providing high quality building materials and valuable services to our customers. We are "Building on Service".
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  1. Receive incoming deliveries from vendors by unloading and inspecting products to ensure accuracy against purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists.
  2. Tag, record, and enter received items into the computer system.
  3. Organize and store products in designated yard locations.
  4. Prepare vendor returns for pickup, ensuring proper documentation and handling.
  5. Maintain accurate records of orders, delivery details, and inventory movements.
  6. Assist with cycle counts and inventory control tasks as needed.
  7. Operate forklifts and other equipment to unload, move, or stack materials, maintaining required certifications.
  8. Support walk-in customer service as needed.
  9. Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organized, and safe, while protecting inventory from weather and damage.
  10. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  1. Fork lift certification required
  2. Excellent customer service skills.
  3. Ability to lift and carry 25 to over 100 pounds on a consistent basis. Possible weight of 125 pounds and over at times.
  4. Alert, focused and detail-oriented.
  5. Basic math skills
  6. Physically and mentally fit
  7. Self starter who works well independently as well as the ability to work well with others when needed
  8. Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
