Job description

Position Overview: The Computer System Analyst III, provides essential technical and operational support within a mission-focused environment, ensuring effective communication, task execution, and system functionality in support of organizational objectives. The position requires the ability to clearly convey task requirements to clients, participate in meetings and working groups, and maintain consistent productivity while working on a computer for extended periods.

The individual in this role applies broad experience in computerized systems—including system design, development, testing and evaluation, network protocols, LAN administration, and both UNIX and Windows operating systems—to support C4ISR Programs of Record such as DCGS‑MC All Source, GEOINT, or SIGINT. The position requires adherence to scheduled work hours, proficiency in both written and verbal communication, and the ability to perform duties involving extended use of keyboards and visual focus.

A Secret clearance, relevant technical experience, and the ability to obtain advanced professional certifications are required. Industry-recognized certifications in systems, networking, cloud, and software development are highly preferred and contribute to enhanced performance in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicate task requirement information to clients clearly and concisely.
  • Sit and stand for prolonged periods, lead, and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Use a keyboard and maintain visual acuity.
  • Attend work during scheduled hours unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Work on a computer for extended periods and communicate with individuals via telephone, email, and face-to-face.

Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain certifications within 1.5 years: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP)
  • 5 years of experience in Computerized Systems: Design, Development, Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows-based operating systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with a C4ISR Program of Record (PoR) such as DCGS-MC All Source, DCGS-MC GEOINT, or DCGS-MC SIGINT. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.

Preferred:

Completion of certifications with COR approval: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Applicator Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), and Cloud Certifications.
