The Finishing Adjuster is responsible for the set up and efficient operation of the gluer. He/she ensures conformance to all Health and Safety Policies, Rules and Regulations and general housekeeping standards. Meets or exceeds production, efficiency and quality requirements at all times.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:


• Verify customer specifications for each product using computer system
• Set up equipment for product according to customer specifications
• Assist and train operators in set up and operation of equipment
• Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance on Finishing equipment
• Drive root cause analysis to machine problems, recommend solutions and be active in problem solving events such as Kaizen
• Responsible for knowing Finishing lockout procedures
• Complete quality checks to ensure only conforming product is being produced
• Record all production data in Production Manager (PM) (output, downtime etc.)
• Trained and certified at operating the gluers at standard (Straight-line Cartons)
• Perform general housekeeping and other related duties as required


Applicants must successfully complete a mechanical aptitude test.
Finishing experience is an asset.

The successful applicant will be required to rotate on shift with the trainer during the training period.
