Job Title: Network and Computer System Administrator Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Network and Computer System Administrator in support of a program whose initiative is aimed at combating evolving and emerging threats, supporting related exploitation and replication activities, and advancing operational rehearsal, exercise, wargaming, and counter system development. Additionally, we are focusing on integration and experimentation, including Modeling and Simulation. By joining this team, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the U.S. and our allies' ability to develop and apply models and simulations throughout the lifecycle of military and commercial technologies and systems. Your work will help ensure Warfighter readiness and the realization of future capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge modeling and simulation activities that enable the integration and synchronization of force generation, development, and design to transform how Armed Services bring together technology and doctrine at speed. Responsibilities: * Network Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers in support of critical DOW operations * System Monitoring & Performance: Perform comprehensive system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems to ensure mission-critical operational readiness * System Administration: Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access * Software Management: Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. Coordinate network modeling, analysis, and planning between network and data communications hardware and software * Security Compliance: Ensure all network operations comply with Army cybersecurity regulations (AR 25-2), NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2, and other applicable DOW security standards * Multi-Domain Operations Support: Support Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) simulation environments and distributed exercise protocols across USINDOPACOM operational requirements * Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and operational procedures. Provide technical reports as required Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration
* Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) * Knowledge of network security controls, firewalls, and VPNs * Familiarity with monitoring tools and system performance optimization * Understanding of backup and disaster recovery procedures Qualifications: Required: * Associate of Arts (AA) degree or 2 year technical school * 5 years of relevant experience or 8 years experience in lieu of degree * Active TS/SCI Desired: * CompTIA Network+, Security+
* Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator
* Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification
* IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570.01-M
* Experience supporting USINDOPACOM operations
* Knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SD-WAN) and hybrid cloud architectures
* Experience with C4I systems integration
* Familiarity with DOW modeling and simulation environments
* Experience with COMSEC and classified network administration (SIPRnet, JWICS)
