NEW ENGLAND LAND SURVEY INC (NELS) is growing, and were looking for a motivated CAD Technician to join our team. In this role, youll collaborate with experienced surveyors, CAD technicians, and project managers to create high-quality survey drawings that help bring projects to life.

What Youll Do
  • Create and revise detailed CAD drawings from survey field data and project specifications
  • Collaborate with surveyors, CAD staff, and project managers to deliver accurate and efficient project results
  • Perform quality control reviews to maintain company and industry standards
  • Assist in preparing survey plans, documents, and client deliverables
  • Utilize industry-standard software including Carlson Survey Software, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
  • Maintain organized digital project files and documentation
  • Stay current with evolving CAD and surveying technologies
  • Support project coordination and planning as needed
What Were Looking For
  • Associate degree or certification in CAD, drafting, or a related field
  • Experience with CAD drafting/design (land surveying experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in Carlson Survey Software, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
