NEW ENGLAND LAND SURVEY INC (NELS) is growing, and were looking for a motivated CAD Technician to join our team. In this role, youll collaborate with experienced surveyors, CAD technicians, and project managers to create high-quality survey drawings that help bring projects to life.

What Youll Do
- Create and revise detailed CAD drawings from survey field data and project specifications
- Collaborate with surveyors, CAD staff, and project managers to deliver accurate and efficient project results
- Perform quality control reviews to maintain company and industry standards
- Assist in preparing survey plans, documents, and client deliverables
- Utilize industry-standard software including Carlson Survey Software, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
- Maintain organized digital project files and documentation
- Stay current with evolving CAD and surveying technologies
- Support project coordination and planning as needed
What Were Looking For
- Associate degree or certification in CAD, drafting, or a related field
- Experience with CAD drafting/design (land surveying experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Carlson Survey Software, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of surveying principles is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

- Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 4:00 PM
Training is paid at an hourly rate discussed during the interview process. After training, this position transitions to a piecework compensation structure with earning potential of
$12$24+ per drawing completed.
