E Tech Pos Store in Kissimmee, FL is looking for one computer technician to join our 6 person strong team. We are located on 4655 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy Ste 104. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

Installation Technician / Tech. Support

General Job Description:

The Installation Technician / Tech. Support is responsible for performing a variety of installation and support

tasks including but not limited to:

traveling to the merchantโ€™s place of business, installing equipment, suggesting areas for installation,

troubleshooting, and providing merchants with operating instructions

Responsibilities:

โ— Traveling to customers' homes or places of business.

โ— Installing computer equipment such as POS systems, credit card terminals/smart terminals, routers, desktop computers, cameras, and tablets.

โ— Suggesting areas where equipment should be set up and where cords should be placed.

โ— Troubleshooting problems with existing equipment.

โ— Testing old and new installation connections.

โ— Providing customers with verbal and written operating instructions for new equipment.

โ— Maintaining equipment.

โ— Cleaning up after the job is complete.

โ— Recording and maintaining stock levels.

โ— Maintaining the work vehicle.

โ— Other tasks as required by the senior tech. manager

Skills / Education Requirements:

โ— A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Electronics, Information Technology, or similar is preferred.

โ— Proven work experience as an Installation Technician.

โ— Computer/Microsoft Office skills.

โ— Excellent communication skills.

โ— Advanced networking skills

โ— Advanced knowledge of modern electrical equipment.

โ— Ability to solve problems and repair equipment on-site.

โ— Ability to identify independent colors and learn color codes.

โ— Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:

โ— Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.

โ— Ability to crouch, kneel, and work in confined areas for extended periods.

โ— Ability to lift 50lbs. is required

Work Environment:

โ— Ability to work in a confined area.
