Job description

Directs and controls all in-store activities to achieve sales and profitability targets, and to ensure long-term business growth in accordance with company philosophy and established policies and procedures. The store manager will set the strategic direction of their store location to achieve all objectives and projects assigned by Cole Haan while establishing a healthy team culture and store environment.

  • Exceed store EBITDA budget through responsibly managing payroll, supplies, and facilities
  • Coach and develop staff to exceed individual and store goals

Build a dedicated and good-natured team:

  • Create and maintain a positive store environment by leading and developing a quality store team
  • Directly responsible for the recruitment, hiring, training, and building a talent pipeline
  • Urgently address performance issues using the Company tools

  • Must have open availability and the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a retail business, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs

  • Knowledge in driving sales, business acumen, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team to coordinate operational tasks, including receiving shipment and maintain store cleanliness; will participate in those tasks when additional support is needed
  • Able to coordinate and manage a team to accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge in staffing, coaching, counseling, training, development, employee corrective action and performance management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and create a team-oriented environment
  • Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written English
  • Strong computer skills including POS Systems and Microsoft Office
  • Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time, including repetitive use of upper extremities
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds occasionally
