Responsibilities
Our engineering team is located in Santa Rosa, California, and relocation benefits are provided. As part of a team, you will also independently manage your priorities and tasks. The scope and complexity of your projects will be based on your existing knowledge and capabilities as well as how fast you can acquire new skills. You will be working on projects as a member of a team that gathers requirements, analyzes, designs, prototypes, develops and tests software, firmware and applications for current and future Vector Network Analyzer products. You will be working with other engineers to gather customer requirements to create a complete solution.

About the Team:
Our team is very competent, highly motivated, friendly, and eager to help you succeed. The team has a mix of new and experienced developers with a broad range of skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, test, and document new software solutions for electronic test and measurement products; meet schedule and scope needs of the project
  • Review and understand customer requirements
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to deliver new capabilities
  • Write regression tests for software
  • Participate in design, code reviews, and technical discussions
  • Take ownership of features from initial requirements through release.
  • Develop functionality from low-level measurement implementation through to the user interface.

Qualifications
Key Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other engineering discipline
  • Strong programming skills in C++ with solid software engineering fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of building, testing, and debugging software
  • The ability to work in a team, with multiple customers/partners and across geographic boundaries
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Embedded system programming experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Git source control systems
  • Familiarity with RF concepts and/or test and measurement tools is preferred.

The level of the role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
California pay range: MIN $122,580.00 - Max $161,280.00
This position is on-site in Santa Rosa, California. Relocation is available for this position
This position requires access to certain goods, software, technology, or technical data subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations.
