CTG is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our client's technology team. This role is ideal for a developer with strong ServiceNow experience, particularly with ServiceNow Catalog and Flow Designer, who is interested in building enterprise solutions and contributing to complex technology initiatives.
Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance ServiceNow solutions with a focus on Catalog Items and Flow Designer workflows.
  • Build complex catalog items and deliver scalable solutions as part of a collaborative development team.
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement application enhancements and new functionality.
  • Support enterprise application development initiatives and provide technical expertise throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with technology teams, business partners, and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
  • Create technical documentation, specifications, test plans, and implementation plans.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform debugging, and support production stability.
  • Evaluate system integrations, application dependencies, and technical impacts.
  • Follow development standards, security practices, and operational controls.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow Catalog and ServiceNow Flow Designer.
  • Experience with ServiceNow SIR, USEM, and/or SecOps exposure is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of systems analysis and application development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.

Preferred Skills:
  • ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) experience or interest.
  • Experience with application frameworks, integrations, and enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience supporting large-scale technology initiatives.

Education:
