CTG is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our client's technology team. This role is ideal for a developer with strong ServiceNow experience, particularly with ServiceNow Catalog and Flow Designer, who is interested in building enterprise solutions and contributing to complex technology initiatives.
Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance ServiceNow solutions with a focus on Catalog Items and Flow Designer workflows.
- Build complex catalog items and deliver scalable solutions as part of a collaborative development team.
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement application enhancements and new functionality.
- Support enterprise application development initiatives and provide technical expertise throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with technology teams, business partners, and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
- Create technical documentation, specifications, test plans, and implementation plans.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform debugging, and support production stability.
- Evaluate system integrations, application dependencies, and technical impacts.
- Follow development standards, security practices, and operational controls.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience with ServiceNow Catalog and ServiceNow Flow Designer.
- Experience with ServiceNow SIR, USEM, and/or SecOps exposure is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of systems analysis and application development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills:
- ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) experience or interest.
- Experience with application frameworks, integrations, and enterprise platforms.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Experience supporting large-scale technology initiatives.
- Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.
Education:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
