Job description

Collabetive Services, LLC is looking for a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, test, document, and support business-critical software, database processes, APIs, and cloud-hosted systems used by Adam’s Pest Control, Collabetive Services, and Blu Star clients.

As our Senior Software Developer, you’ll play a lead role in database design and critical system integrations. You’ll collaborate closely with our CTO and Lead Developers to master existing systems, document institutional knowledge, and elevate our standards to build fast, repeatable data conversion processes.

Position Type: Full-Time · Salary · Exempt

Work Location: Medina, MN This role is required to work one day a week in office.

Reports to: President

Company Description:

Collabetive Services, LLC helps pest control businesses improve performance and achieve results. We offer proven best practices, real-world advice, and a network of experienced business consultants in management, process improvement, entomology, and marketing; each with extensive experience in pest control. You will also find tools and services to improve efficiency that will save you time and money.

  • 25% Back-End & API Development: Design, build, and support secure, high-performing APIs and web services linking our core platform to mobile applications and third-party systems.
  • 15% Azure Cloud / DevOps / Support: Help manage and optimize our Azure-hosted applications and SQL databases to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
  • 10% Transition & Mentorship: Work hand-in-hand with our departing Lead Developer to capture undocumented system logic, establish database naming standards, and create robust documentation.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, software development, data management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of professional software development, database development, or systems integration experience.
  • Deep proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, advanced T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query tuning.
  • Proven experience in mapping, cleansing, and reconciling messy data from third-party legacy systems.
  • A practical, problem-solving mindset and the willingness to read and respect existing legacy codebases while actively finding ways to modernize and automate them.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

Preferred Skills:

  • Azure SQL / Azure App Services / Azure infrastructure familiarity
  • ETL tooling or scripting experience
  • SSIS, PowerShell, React, Python, C#, .NET, or similar
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, accounting, field service, logistics, billing, or service routes
  • Reporting or analytics experience

  • Telerik familiarity
  • Mobile/backend integration experience
  • QuickBooks or accounting system data familiarity
  • Security, logging, monitoring, and deployment automation experience
  • AI-assisted coding experience (Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.)

Benefits:

  • Health, Dental, Vision, plus additional insurance options
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, & Sick Leave
  • PTO Carryover
  • 401K + Company Match
