Brandt est actuellement à la recherche d'un technicien d’équipement lourd pour son site de Construction et foresterie de St Augustin.

Le titulaire de ce poste est chargé d'effectuer des diagnostics de base ou complexes, des travaux d'entretien et de réparation sur des équipements appartenant à des clients ou à des concessionnaires de manière efficace.

 

Tâches et responsabilités

  • Évaluer efficacement l'état de fonctionnement, diagnostiquer, assembler et désassembler, commander des pièces et réparer les équipements lourds.
  • Utiliser les matériaux et équipements secondaires de manière sûre et efficace
  • Utiliser les instruments, les outils manuels et électriques, l'équipement secondaire et les systèmes informatiques connexes.
  • Consigner de manière précise et complète sur les bons de travail toutes les informations relatives à la machine, les mesures prises et le temps passé.
  • Évaluer continuellement les risques liés aux tâches de service et s'assurer que le travail est effectué en toute sécurité et conformément aux normes acceptées.
  • Utiliser les applications informatiques et les systèmes d'information (par exemple, conseiller en service John Deere) pour documenter l'entretien, l'inspection et le diagnostic.
  • Utiliser les catalogues de pièces pour localiser les pièces et les commander au personnel chargé des pièces.
  • Faire des essais sur route de l'équipement et vérifier le fonctionnement des accessoires, selon les besoins.

Brandt is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician for our St Augustin Construction & Forestry location.

This position is responsible for performing basic/complex diagnostics, service maintenance and repair work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment on an efficient basis.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair heavy duty equipment
  • Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems
  • Accurately and completely document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time taken
  • Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standards
  • Use computer applications and information systems (i.e. John Deere Service Advisor) to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis
  • Use parts catalogues to locate parts, and order parts from parts personnel
  • Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required

  • Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proven computer and technical aptitude and knowledge for diagnostics and calibration work.
