Position Summary

AB Facility Service is seeking an IT Intern for the Fall semester. This unpaid internship is intended for students earning academic credit and offers hands-on experience supporting the IT Manager with daily technology operations, technical support, and IT projects.


Responsibilities

  • Provide basic technical support for hardware, software, and user issues.
  • Assist with computer setup, software installation, and equipment deployment.
  • Help manage user accounts, passwords, and IT inventory.
  • Support system updates, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Assist the IT Manager with special projects and other IT initiatives.
  • Document processes with detail and accuracy


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Eligible to receive academic credit.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and computer hardware.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Eager to learn and work in a collaborative environment.
  • Must be able and willing to lift up to 40lb to move equipment.
