Job description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Estimator/CAD Technician. This position is located in the city of Guelph. This role may require commuting between two plants. You will be working on days. A key requirement for this role is the ability to understand and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation. The successful candidate should be comfortable identifying material types, material grades, specifications, and manufacturing numbering systems, as this knowledge is essential when preparing accurate quotations and estimates Rate of pay is $26-$28/hr, based on experience. With the possibility of advancement. Responsibilities Duties: - Work in collaboration and independently to create manufacturing drawings of components and assemblies. - Develop weld fixtures and processes. - Use CAD and other engineering design software to create drawings. - Assist in generation of bill of material. Requirements: - Detail-oriented - Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment. Knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, assembly processes is an asset. - Good communication and problem-solving skills. - Creative, self-motivated, reliable, and able to follow direction. - Ability to work as part of a team or individually. - Proficient in SolidWorks - Able to efficiently use Excel, Word and Outlook - Clear communication skills, both written verbal *Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central would be considered an asset If you are interested in this position please contact Liberty Staffing Services at 519-823-9697!
