Hoover-Schrum Memorial School District 157 is seeking a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership.

* Shadowing and training experiences with knowledgeable professionals
*Opportunity to attend networking events and company meetings

IT Intern Duties and Responsibilities
*Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
*Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
*Organize and maintain IT resources
*Lend IT support in areas such as hardware, network, programming, analytics, and data center management.
* Any other given responsibilities by the Technology Director.
Requirements
*Currently enrolled in a Post-secondary program as Sophomore, Junior or Senior in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems major or 6-12 Months of documented Previous IT Training and Certification(s).
*Strong verbal and written communication.
*Punctual, reliable, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Strong work ethic and attention to detail, ability to work well in a team environment.
