Working Business Language: English. This role requires regular interaction with customers across Canada where the primary business language utilized is English.As such, the successful candidate must be fully proficient in English.   
 

Salary: At Wawanesa, salary is only one component of a holistic, comprehensive and competitive offering that we provide to our employees. The salary offered starts at $26.53/hour and varies based on the number of exams and internships completed.

Job Overview

Working with a high degree of autonomy, the Actuarial Intern contributes to and supports the actuarial group using knowledge from relevant course work and the actuarial exam system.  They will apply their knowledge to assist others in the pursuit of solving business problems and answering business questions.

Qualifications
  • Education
    • Second or third year of study, majoring with the Actuarial pattern of either Commerce or Science degree
  • Pursuing FCIA designation
