Job description

Seeking Data Scientist that performs tasks associated with Big Data Platform management, utilizes skills in programming languages, develops prototype algorithms, as well as algorithm refinements, and supports data visualization and analytics. The Data Scientist Level 3 shall possess the following capabilities: Relevant experience must be in designing/implementing machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, advanced mathematical foundations, artificial intelligence, workflow and reproducibility, data management and curation, data modeling and assessment, experience as a data scientist working to support a single or multiple domain areas, and/or software engineering. Experience in more than five areas is strongly preferred.

* Perform tasks associated with Big Data Platform management, utilizes skills in programming languages, develops prototype algorithms, as well as algorithm refinements, and supports data visualization and analytics. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and 10 years' relevant experience OR Associate's degree plus 12 years' experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. * Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science.

A degree in a related field, a degree in the physical/hard sciences, or other science disciplines with a substantial computational component may be considered if it includes a concentration of coursework in advanced mathematics and/or computer science. TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
