Work Location: This position can be based at our Bethany, Cameron, Chillicothe, Sedalia, or Tipton MO locations.

Job Purpose: Under direct supervision, will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure equipment and ensuring the seamless integration of new technology systems to improve company productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the installation of all communication hardware, operating systems, and application software for LAN/WAN communications and VOIP.
  • Responsible for maintaining an inventory database of all information technology infrastructure equipment and software.
  • Maintain and enforce company policy revolving information technology infrastructure equipment and usage as directed by the IT Engineering Manager and CTO.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call after hours Helpdesk operator call rotation schedule.
  • Communicate with the IT Engineering Manager regarding known, newly discovered, and past issues to facilitate the growth of the IT knowledge base.
  • Maintain and develop ongoing documentation detailing recurring procedures, broken/fixed resolutions, and project documentation as assigned.
  • Responsible for maintaining configuration backup and restore procedures on all infrastructure equipment.
  • At the direction of the IT Engineering Manager maintain all applications, appliances or operating systems, including researching and applying current service packs, BIOS upgrades, hardware upgrades, and Network OS upgrades as assigned.
  • Utilize network monitoring stations to develop a proactive response to outages.
  • Acquire and retain knowledge in Bank products and services.
  • Identify, propose, and procure tools to automate all recurring network administration tasks.
  • Work with IT staff and LAN/WAN users to further a hands-on approachable technology environment.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate in computer science, related field, or technical equivalent.
  • Candidate must hold industry certification as Cisco CCNA or Cisco CCNP
  • Minimum of two-year’s experience with Cisco routers and switches.
  • Excellent working knowledge of infrastructure devices, security, network and systems administration, data storage systems, and phone systems.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
  • Firm grasp on IT equipment and operational best practices.

Working Conditions:

  • This job operates in a normal office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Some travel is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
